"The Dillyboys are an energetic folk band, bringing to life original and traditional songs and tunes." Mono Magazine
Hello, we are the Dillyboys.
Emily Howard - guitar and accordion
Lizi Bennett - violin
Dave Parry - banjo
We play a mixture of Irish, English, and Americana folk songs and tunes, we write original songs, and play a few pop covers too!
We were lucky enough to play some fantastic gigs and festivals last year, and we would love to play some more in 2024.
"We had the Dillyboys play one of our freshers events and I have seen them live a couple of times, they have an amazing stage presence and get the whole room singing along. Hugely talented and lovely people. Can't recommend them enough!"
"Amazing band. Seen them perform at weddings, pub gigs and festivals and always blown away by how much energy and talent come from these guys. Such fun to dance to! They leave their audience exhausted and wanting more!"
"The Dillyboys brought sunshine to Priddy Festival. Heartwarming songs, bright, skilful accompaniment, big smiles, and bundles of humour are all in abundance. They are completely engaging and thoroughly enjoyable, totally professional yet completely relaxed. I would highly recommend the Dillyboys to anyone looking to create a feel good factor." David Francis Programme Manager Priddy Festival.
